ASCO completed the construction of this 20,000 square foot retail centre in Rockland, marking Top Mode’s first location in Ontario as part of its expansion from Quebec.

Delivered under a lump-sum contract, the project included full building construction and site development. Early in construction, unforeseen rock excavation created schedule pressure and required quick, practical solutions to keep the project moving forward.

Working closely with the Owner, ASCO adjusted the construction approach to maintain progress and support the client’s business objectives. The project was strategically sequenced to allow for early occupancy, enabling the Owner to begin tenant fit-up and prepare for a critical back-to-school retail season.

Despite early challenges, the result is a functional, well-executed retail space delivered on a timeline that supported the client’s successful market entry.
