This project expanded the Biosolids Storage Facility to support the Barrie Water Pollution Control Centre’s increase from 57.1 MLD to 76 MLD capacity.
Work included modifications to existing systems and construction of new infrastructure, including:
- Cast-in-place concrete storage tanks with a total capacity of 15 million litres,
- Pipe gallery and office space,
- Sludge transfer and mixing systems,
- Truck loading/unloading and wash systems.
The expansion enhanced the facility’s capacity and operational efficiency.
