ASCO acted as General Contractor for this new 13,000 sq. ft. library, constructed adjacent to an active school complex during the academic year. Safety and coordination with ongoing school operations were critical throughout the project.

The building’s architecture, designed by Sébastien Racine, complements previous expansions completed by ASCO on the site. A key construction challenge involved the use of insulated concrete forms (ICF) for 7.6-metre-high walls, combined with masonry bearing walls to support the building envelope. Careful planning and the selection of experienced trades were essential to successfully execute this specialized scope.

The project was completed in time for the start of the 2007 school year.
