ASCO completed this $2.58M, 20,300 sq. ft. retail building for Acklands-Grainger in Ottawa using a cost-plus contract with a guaranteed maximum price.

Initially budgeted and tendered under a construction management model, the project was fast-tracked using a pre-engineered Murox panel system. Panels were ordered early and installed immediately after foundation completion, reducing the overall schedule by approximately six weeks.

Construction began in September 2005, continued through winter, and reached completion in February 2006, with final asphalt work completed in the spring.
