ASCO constructed the new Schomberg Water Pollution Control Plant to replace existing lagoon and sand filter systems, delivering a facility with a rated capacity of 2,055 m³/day.

The project included:

• A 215 m² administration building
• Process building, aeration tanks, blower building, and tertiary filters
• Plant sewer pumping station
• Pile-supported structures due to poor soil conditions

Key process systems included UV disinfection, chemical feed systems, sludge thickening, and standby power generation. Additional scope included inlet works such as diversion lagoons, screening systems, and grit removal.

The administration building houses control, laboratory, and support spaces for plant operations.
