Located in Vaughan’s Boyd Conservation Area, this $7.6M project included the construction of a new sewage pumping station and approximately 600 metres of forcemain and sanitary sewer.

The station features a 14-metre-deep, two-celled reinforced concrete wet well, three 82 kW submersible pumps, and a fully equipped control building with generator, odour control, and electrical systems.

Construction required maintaining traffic, protecting environmental constraints, and managing tunnelling operations, including 300 metres of under-road tunnelling. Extensive dewatering was required due to saturated ground conditions.

Despite these challenges, ASCO completed the project on schedule while maintaining service to surrounding residents.
