Following a fire that completely destroyed Lombardi Restaurant on Duluth Avenue in Montreal, ASCO was awarded the contract to manage this turnkey project to reconstruct the two storey trendy restaurant building. This challenging, downtown Montreal build had ASCO negotiating special building permits with the municipality, managing local traffic and the rental of public spaces, and navigating access to the surrounding property.
Given the limited size of the property and the proximity of neighboring buildings, ASCO staff had to rely on creative processes and construction methods as well as just in time delivery of materials to minimize the storage of materials on site and usage of public roads, while complying with regulatory requirements of the municipality.
