ASCO successfully tendered this $8.7 million Aquatic Centre addition for the City of Cornwall. While all bids were over budget, ASCO worked very closely with the City, the City's Consultant Design Team, and the project subcontractors to complete a value engineering process that produced significant savings.




Construction commenced on site in the spring of 2004 and was completed in July 2005. The project consisted of a 21,000 square foot building housing a 6 lane competition level swimming pool, children's play pool, a water slide and splash pool, a whirlpool, and accompanying change room facilities.

The building was constructed on a pile foundation/grade beam design to accommodate the ground conditions.
