Where can I submit my quotations to ASCO?
Bids can be submitted via email at least 30 minutes prior tender closing time to the following email addresses depending on which ASCO District Office is responsible for the tender.
Ottawa Office: tendersoo@ascoconstruction.com
Toronto Office: tendersto@ascoconstruction.com
How does ASCO evaluate bids?
ASCO does not automatically award work to the lowest-priced bidder. Bid evaluations may consider several factors, including but not limited to, compliance with tender requirements, relevant project experience, safety performance, quality and completeness of the submission, financial stability, schedule commitments, technical capability, past performance, and overall value to the project.
ASCO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in accordance with applicable procurement requirements.
To increase your chance of success, consider registering your company as a Vendor and prequalifying with ASCO prior to submitting your bid.
Who is eligible to bid on ASCO projects?
ASCO welcomes bids from qualified subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers with the experience, resources, safety performance, and financial capacity necessary to successfully perform the work. Depending on the project, bidders may be required to demonstrate relevant project experience, maintain specific insurance coverage, and meet prequalification requirements prior to submitting a bid to ASCO. How do I become a prequalified subcontractor or supplier with ASCO?

Can I qualify my bid or propose alternative products?
Any proposed deviations, exclusions, substitutions, or qualifications decreases the chance of your bid being accepted and are discouraged. Any proposed deviations, exclusions, substitutions, or qualifications must be clearly identified within the bid submission. ASCO reserves the right to reject bids containing unacceptable qualifications or to request clarification where appropriate. Unless specifically requested, bids should comply fully with the tender requirements.
Will I be notified if my bid is not successful?
Due to the volume of submissions received, ASCO will not provide individual debriefings or notifications for every unsuccessful bidder unless required by the procurement process or specifically requested. You may contact ASCO’s estimating department 48 hours after the bid closing to get a debriefing.
Shortlisted bidders or successful proponents will be contacted directly.
